Lucifer is the originator of evil. What is evil, however? Every human being with a conscience knows what evil is. There is no debate about this. Any act that goes against the Will of God and is designed to cause harm within Creation must be regarded as evil. Now there many such acts. The main focus is the fact that it is directed away from the Will of God or even acts contrary to this Will. Lucifer is the origin and the driving force of the evil principle. Whatever then we engage in, in our actions, thoughts or words as long as it is contrary to the Will of God and done in a deliberate way to cause harm is evil.
